You might think I am crazy but I have an obsession with hot sauce. Not just plain old buffalo or Frank’s Red Hot but more so Asian hot sauces. Asian foodies don’t play their, sauces are insane and delish! Being that it is my birthday month and I like to spoil myself as well as let others spoil me I had to stock up on my hot sauce addiction. Duringmy hot sauce endeavour I found some of my fave hot sauces & figured I would share with my fabulous Fashionistazzzz!
I have actually never tried Togarashi but a few of my sushi loving friends say this is a super secret red pepper powder that apparently every sushi spot has but they hide it because it is so expensive. A little pinch of Togarashi goes a long way. Togarashi Red Pepper is supposed to be extremely spicy so I cannot wait to try it!
I never really realized that garlic can make things spicy if you use enough of it. Me being Italian eating garlic or cooking with it is like drinking water so I may not be effected by its spicy qualities but mix it with chili paste and OMFG FIRE! Garlic Chili Sauce can be used in cooking almost anything. If you use proper amounts you can add a kick to any meal not just Asian ones. I use this garlic chili sauce in my Italian pasta dishes and no one ever knows.
Hot Chili Oil is not soo awesome because yes it is oil but if you mix it with soy sauce or use a little bit in a recipe it adds a super kick that is amazing! I personally love hot chili oil on any asian noodle rice/dish or my dumplings! Sooo Yum! Most Chinese or fusion restaurants carry it I suggest you try it ASAP!
Sriracha is my go to sauce! I love Sriracha, you can put it on everything breakfast, lunch or dinner! I lurve lurve lurve this sauce! This is proabably the most popular Asian hot sauce around so I am sure most of you have tried it but if not this is a great introduction to Asian hot sauces.
