I am not the kind of woman to ask for things. I feel like if I want something I should either go out and get it myself or work hard enough until I can. When the holidays or the high holy birthday month come along I will generally make lists of things I wouldn’t be upset over receiving but generally I use these times to go on shopping sprees guilt free and expect to hear no gruff about it. I have been waiting for the holiday season to come around so I could purchase a new bag. I was more responsible than ever because usually I would have just bought a new one just because. This time I forced myself to pay bills, buy everyone else’s holiday gifts and then finally today I could wait no longer! The Matt & Nat bag I have been using was a super fab gift but the colors are all wrong for fall.
I must also say that I have purchase perhaps 4 complete black bags in my entire life because they are impossible for me to find. They are either leather, way too expensive or not my style. One is leather but it was my mothers, 2 more are clutches and the last one I think is a shopper that is really more suited for grocery shopping than a handbag. I almost fell out of my chair this afternoon when I saw this Betsey bag. The handbag gods must have finally heard my prayers and sent me the most fabulous black bag I could think of. The only thing missing is probably a skull and some glitter but even then I am not sure it would matter.
I ordered the Betsey bag
through Amazon Prime soo I will get it in 2 days for free shipping! The bag itself was only $98 so I feel like I got myself a deal. Many of you might be thinking spending $100 for a PVC bag is no deal in my book but there are few reasons I cannot rationalize spending money on my beloved Betsey. $98 for a completely black patent Betsey bag is almost free for me so I say its a steal! I am soo happy to have this right before all of the good holiday parties begin. My new Betsey bag will clearly go with every outfit I have since black is a staple in my wardrobe almost to a gothic sense! Cross your fingers once it comes I love it just as much as I do in the picture because right now this is my version of the Sistine Chapel!
