I like to think that my style is a mixture of retro, vintage, classic. I always tend to go for colors or styles from the past. They are more interesting I think than many of the minimalist, very tight, and revealing styles of today. There is something to be said about classic styles that leave much to the imagination. I was never into revealing clothing even when my body was super skinny and in shape. I was drawn to more vintage styles that had personality. You can check out the Trina Turk Fall Sale.
I never have been into capes. I feel like they are unflattering but the Hederen Cape is beautiful. Camel is one of my favorite fall colors and can be paired with so many outfits. Since the fabric for the cape isn’t patterned you can really wear it with almost anything. You can wear the cape all of the way through Spring which completely makes it worth the purchase.
The boat neck collar of this dress is really what I like. It is a simple detail with the trim and button but it adds a hint of vintage which differentiates the Vienna Dress from other sleeveless dresses. The modified herringbone pattern of the fabric is perfect for fall with those colors. You can pair it with boots pumps or even my fave BOOTIES!!!
The pattern of the Indio 2 Dress is very retro as is the cut. I generally don’t love Jersey material but for fall it is ok. You can pair this dress with knee high boots, booties or pumps which I love. You can wear leggings or stockings, scarf, hat you name it and the best part is you don’t have to weight it down with jewelry. In the winter I sometimes have an issue with wearing too much jewelry when you have a scarf hat and gloves.
How very Royal Tenenbaums of you Grace Kelly Long Wrap Coat. I would buy this purely to pay homage to my Gweneth. Sorry Grace I don’t really feel as if I know you. Add an obnoxiously large brooch, fluffy scarf and perhaps a cute hat and you are stylish for life! I wouldn’t normally be into a coat like this but pretending like I am as awesome as Gweneth is all the inspiration I need.
